One of the brightest prospects to emerge from Arsenal’s academy in recent years, Reiss Nelson is set for a bright future at the Emirates Stadium and has shown his stellar ability during the flashes of first-team football he has earned.
However, Arsenal need to ensure that the 18-year-old forward isn’t thrust into the limelight too quickly, like Iwobi has been, and a loan to a top-end Championship side or a lower-tier Premier League outfit next season would be ideal.
The teenager is at an age where he needs consistent first-team football at a senior level and Arsenal cannot offer that just yet, especially with Nelson still being a raw talent, and a loan needs to be the next step in his development.
