Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Utilised as an unorthodox left wing-back at stages this season, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has started to make his mark on the first-team but it’s unclear at this stage as to what position his future actually lies in- but it’s unlikely it’ll be down the left.
Earning experience in different positions is beneficial to a player’s development but there’s no doubt Maitland-Niles is best in the middle of the park, although he may not be quite ready to play in this area on a regular basis for Arsenal.
If a loan to a Premier League side can be set-up next season, then it would be the ideal option for Arsenal and Maitland-Niles.
