Arsenal are widely reported to be in the market for a goalkeeper this summer, as they seek to find a successor to the ageing and declining Petr Cech, and reports claim that Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak is the Gunner’s prime target.
Approaches are said to have already been made from the Gunner’s hierarchy, which is exciting for fans, but Arsenal would likely have to smash their club transfer record for the third consecutive window due to the Slovenian international’s massive release-clause.
The 25-year-old would be a massive boost to Arsenal’s squad though, so it’s a move that should definitely be considered.
