Luka Modric
After vast success with Real Madrid, which includes winning the Champions League three times during the past four seasons, reports indicate that Luka Modric is keen on a return to the Premier League- and Arsenal are the leading candidates for his services.
Now 32, the Croatian international is said to prefer a return to north London but could move to the Emirates Stadium rather than returning to Tottenham, whom he left in 2012 to move to the Spanish capital. Given Arsenal’s midfield woes, it makes sense.
Arsenal risk losing Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla this summer, whilst concerns are growing regarding Aaron Ramsey’s long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.
