Rennes starlet reportedly favours Real Madrid over Arsenal

|

Eduardo Camavinga would favour a move to Real Madrid over Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.

The 17-year-old midfielder has made 24 appearances so far this season for Rennes and one cap for the French Under-21 side.

Spanish publication Marca claims the youngster’s impressive performances for the Ligue 1 side have reportedly attracted the attentions of several elite clubs which include Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

However, Arsenal are understood to be leading the race alongside Real Madrid for Camavinga.

Reports have emerged that Mikel Arteta is preparing a clear out this summer at the Emirates and ready to replace those that exit the club with youngsters who are ready to give it their all – and Camavinga fits the bill.

But it appears the teenage midfielder would choose Real Madrid over Arsenal if given the choice.

Arsenal will be hoping that Real’s reported interest in Camavinga cools off in time and look elsewhere for young talent.
