Arsenal fans believed that their side dropped two points during their 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday and laid the blame at one man’s door.

Manager Unai Emery is starting to feel the pressure after his side have failed to beat the Red Devils at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ since 2015 and haven’t won in the Premier League since 2006.

Just like the debates that Arsenal supporters used to have about Arsene Wenger, a sense of déjà vu lurks as fans are now asking the same questions about the capabilities of the Spanish manager as they do not see any progress with their team.

Gunners’ fans took to social media to complain about the manager, with many echoing the beliefs that the tactics were wrong. The leading argument was the questionable decision to leave out Mesut Ozil from the team entirely and go with three defensive midfielders, starving the team of any creativity. Others have run out of patience and have concluded that Emery should be sacked as Arsenal manager.
