The trio Emery should sign to solve Arsenal’s problems

Midfielder (Ramsey replacement)

Abdoulaye Doucoure (Watford)

With Ramsey off either this month or over the summer, there are been loads of names popping up to replace the Welshman at the Emirates, but Watford’s Doucoure seems the most realistic and sensible option for the Gunners to go for this January.

The box-to-box midfielder, 26, has gone from strength to strength since joining Watford in February in 2016 from Rennes and has been ever present this season for the Hornets, starting all but one of the club’s 21 Premier League matches, contributing three goals and five assists thus far.

His versatility in midfielder, powerful running and work-ethic is exactly what Emery looks for in a player and although Doucoure signed a new five-year deal at Watford last summer, the Gunners should seriously consider making a move for him this January, especially if Ramsey leaves the same time.
