Let’s face it, Mkhitaryan hasn’t exactly lit up the Emirates since joining the Gunners this time last year from Manchester United. In fact, he looks to have gone backwards and has become a liability judging by his performances this season.
Emery doesn’t appear to keen on the 29-year-old either as he has been in and out of the squad and with AC Milan reportedly keen on the Armenian midfielder, the potential sale would not only give the Arsenal manager some funds to play with, but it would also free up a big chunk of the club’s wage bill as well.
