Arsenal are undergoing a major transformation this summer both on and off the field, following Unai Emery’s appointment as successor to Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners have already completed two major signings in the market, landing Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus and Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen, while Per Mertesacker, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere have ended their spells at the Emirates Stadium.

Speculation has suggested that veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech could also be on his way out of north London following the capture of Leno but the former Chelsea man, confirming interest from Napoli, has committed his future to the north London side.

Quoted by CalcioMercato, he said:

Napoli were interested in me, but my future is at Arsenal and I do not think about changing clubs. I still have a year of my contract with Arsenal, the only thing I want to think about is fighting for a starting position.”
