Arsenal are set for a major recruitment drive this summer and could return to a style that has worked well for them in previous years.
After pinching Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin from Barcelona’s illustrious academy, and crafting them into stars, the Gunners are linked with a similar move for the services of 15-year-old Robert Navarro.
Spanish outlet Sport states Manchester City have already lodged an offer for the teenager, who will be free to move on his 16th birthday on April 12th, and Arsenal are also in the hunt, although they could face further competition from Juventus and Monaco.
Navarro is said to be seeking answers from Barcelona regarding their plans for him before he puts pen to paper on a deal and he’s set to meet club representatives in the coming days, with a deal likely to be sealed in the next week.
However, it’s not clear yet where he will agree to a contract and Arsenal could steal his services with an offer of their own.
