One of many young prodigies owned by Manchester City, young Patrick Roberts seems unlikely to be able to force his way into Pep Guardiola’s rise due to the competition he faces with Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva, amongst others.
The 21-year-old signed for the Citizens in 2015 but has made just one Premier League appearance since, spending the past two campaigns on-loan in Scotland with Celtic- where he’s been a huge part of Brendan Rodgers’ record-breaking side.
After storming displays in Scotland, Roberts could look to take the next step in his career and the edge in the attacking third that the youngster provides is exactly what Arsenal have been lacking down the left since losing Alexis Sanchez in January.
