Arsenal are set for major changes during the summer transfer window and could look to rejuvenate their squad with the addition of a new goalkeeper, replacing the ageing Petr Cech.

The Czech Republic veteran finally secured his record-breaking 200th Premier League clean sheet in a 3-o win over Watford, where he saved a Troy Deeney penalty, which brought an end to a woeful 11 league matches where the Gunners have failed to prevent the opposition from scoring.

With Cech turning 36 this year, Arsenal are said to be in the market for a successor to the former Chelsea man and French outlet L’Equipe states the Gunners are one of many top sides in the market for Toulouse ace Alban Lafont.

Just 19-years-old, the French U20 international has caught the eye with his performances for the Ligue 1 side and a huge transfer is said to be right around the corner- although Arsenal must play catch-up in the race, with Napoli leading the charge.

The Italian title chasers are said to be the club most advanced in their quest to land Lafont and Arsenal will have to pull out all the stops to pip the Naples side to his signature.
