Arsenal will reportedly listen to offers for Francis Coquelin this month, with West Ham among several French clubs interested in the midfielder.
It is believed Arsene Wenger omitted Coquelin from his FA Cup squad to face Nottingham Forest ahead of a possible transfer.
The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Emirates this season and dropped further down the pecking order following Jack Wilshere’s sudden revival at the club.
Coquelin has made a total of eight starts in all competitions thus far, one of which was in the Premier League, and could now be moved on during the current transfer window.
West Ham are now eyeing up a potential transfer for the French midfielder having failed in their attempts to strike deals for Stoke’s Joe Allen or Newcastle’s Jonjo Shelvey so far.
There is also interest coming from France for Coquelin, but the Hammers appear to be leading the chase.
