Reports are suggesting that Manchester City are close to signing Alexis Sanchez this month.
City previously had a £60million offer turned down by the Gunners over the summer, but Pep Guardiola is determined to bring in the 29-year-old before the January transfer window slams shut.
Sanchez’s contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season and it is believed he’s very keen on a move to Manchester City.
Arsenal look resigned to losing Sanchez, whether it be this month or at the end of the season as talks over a new deal have halted. The Gunners are likely to sell the Chile international this month rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.
Goal claims both clubs have held advanced negotiations since Friday and Sanchez’s representatives are adamant that a deal will be completed imminently.
City are hopeful they can land Sanchez for £25million, rather than Arsenal’s £35million asking price.
