Sevilla will challenge Arsenal for Juventus centre back Daniele Rugani, according to SportItalia (via IlBianconero.com).
The Italian Sports TV station reports that the Spanish club, along with the Gunners, are keen on signing the 23 year old, but Juve are likely to resist any offers for the defender this month.
Reports in Italy in recent weeks have suggested that Tottenham could also make a move for Rugani, with the Italian international struggling to hold down a first team place.
The centre half has been given plenty of opportunities to impress by manager Max Allegri this season, with 14 appearances in all, but he was benched after the Bianconeri’s 3-2 loss to Sampdoria in mid November.
Rugani is seen as the long term successor to captain Giorgio Chiellini at Juventus. However, his lack of consistency has meant he has yet to live up to expectations in a Juve shirt since his arrival from Empoli in 2015
