The agent of Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has confirmed that the 28 year old is open to moving to Italy.
The Corriere Dello Sport revealed on Thursday that the England international was keen on a loan move to AC Milan in order to improve his chances of making England’s World Cup squad.
Asked about the story by TMW, Warwick Horton said that a switch to Serie A was something that interests Walcott:
“I know that at Theo would like to play in Serie A. He would certainly take into consideration offers and projects from Serie A clubs.”
To make it happen TMW report that Horton has teamed up with Italian agent Antonio Gialloreto to help the winger find a team in Italy. They report that in addition AC Milan, Inter Milan have also been asked whether they would be interested in signing him.
Walcott has not started a single Premier League game this season, but manager Arsene Wenger says he is keen to keep hold of the player despite not offering the forward many starting opportunities.
