Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is keen to end his six month spell at the Bernabeu by making a move to Liverpool, according to Diario Gol.
Arsenal pursued the 21 year old before he made his move from Real Betis to Madrid in the summer, but the Gunners had been tipped to revive their attempts to sign the Spanish Under 21 international.
Ceballos has been unhappy with the amount of game time he has been afforded by manager Zinedine Zidane, and reportedly held talks with Real’s president Florentino Perez to ask for clarity on his future.
With increased minutes on the pitch unlikely, Diario Gol report the midfielder looks on a move to Liverpool with “good eyes.” The Reds are believed to be interested in the Spaniard if Philippe Coutinho leaves to join Barcelona.
If the Brazilian does remain at Anfield though, Ceballos may look for alternative destinations, and this could offer Arsenal another opportunity to sign the player.
