Udinese sporting director Manuel Gerolin has confirmed that the Serie A club will assess Jakub Jankto’s playing situation in the summer.
The Czech international is an Arsenal fan, and is reportedly a target for the Gunners as well as Inter Milan, Juventus and others. Speaking about the 21 year old’s future at the club, Gerolon told SportItalia (quotes via TMW) that they will assess bids for the player at the end of the season:
“We are used to seeing observers in our stands for him, the guys have to be calm and know that they have to improve first, until the end we will stay like that, then we will see according to the requests we will have.”
Jankto has been tracked by the Gunners for a number of years. He is currently enjoying his second season in the first team with Udinese, having played 20 games so far this campaign. He has already scored five goals and provided six assists for the Serie A side, playing either in the centre of midfield or on the left hand side.
Back in July, the Czech star’s agent Giuseppe Riso revealed that the midfielder would like to play in England , and could be tempted to make the switch to the Premier League.
