The French international has had a stunning season in Ligue One, scoring 12 goals in 15 games. His incredible start to the campaign prompted talk of a move away from France, with the Daily Star even stating had all but secured a move for the prolific midfielder.

However, Fekir looks likely to stay until at least the end of the season. Not only is he an integral player in Lyon’s side, he is also the captain, and club president Jean-Michel Aulas has stated that any discussion about a transfer will have to take place in the summer.
