Paris Saint-Germain may offer Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini a four year contract to join the French club, according to Le10 Sport.

Calciomercato.com reported earlier this month that the Gunners had revived their interest in the 29 year old, with the Belgian international’s contract expiring at the end of the season.

Shortly after joining United in 2013, Fellaini revealed there was genuine interest in him from the Gunners but he decided to move to Old Trafford instead.

The midfielder has been much maligned during his stay in Manchester, and talk over the summer was that the player could be sold to Turkey. It is even more surprising then that PSG have entered the running for the Belgian.

Le10 Sport report that Fellaini is being targeted for two reasons. He will be available on a free transfer which helps the Ligue One club stay within UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations. Secondly, they are looking for backup for the club’s only holding midfielder Thiago Motta and they believe the United player fits the bill.
