Arsenal and Juventus have shown interest in Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun, according to Milliyet Skorer journalist Serdar Saridag.
Saridag believes that although the Gunners and the Serie A side have looked at the Turkish international, their interest isn’t yet concrete, and the player is still likelier to join other clubs.
Tosun has his sights set on Atletico Madrid, reports Saridag, but currently it is Newcastle, along with Arsenal and Juve who have been tracking the 26 year old.
The Turkish star has scored ten goals in 17 games this season, including four in five games in the Champions League, playing an integral role as Besiktas qualified for the last 16 of the competition. Their 1-1 draw against Porto last night means they will finish top of their group, after winning three and drawing two of their five group matches.
Tosun won’t be allowed to leave without a fight, Saridag believes, with the Turkish champions not settling for less than €20million (£17.8m) for the forward.
