Barcelona director Raul Sanllehi could well be Arsenal’s next head of transfer negotiations, according to Sport.
The radio station Cadena SER (via Sport) are reporting that Sanllehi will be leaving the Camp Nou in the not too distant future as the club reshape their management team.
It is reported that Sanllehi is a good friend of Gunners’ chief executive Ivan Gazidis, and Sport suggest that the Spaniard could replace Dick Law as the club’s chief transfer negotiator. Law is leaving the Emirates to return home to the United States.
The Sporting director’s other possible destination could be Manchester City. Three former Barcelona staff are currently at the club with Ferran Serrano and Txiki Begiristain alongside Pep Guardiola, and there was talk over the summer that Sanllehi could join up with the trio.
An announcement could be made before the end of October as to where Barca’s sporting director will end up.
