Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto will remain at his current club until next season, according to Calciomercato.com.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in the Czech international and the Italian website say that the Gunners are still watching the 21 year old closely in view to making an offer to Udinese for the player next summer.
Jankto’s agent Giusuppe Riso admitted last month that the midfielder “likes” Arsenal, and that he saw the player moving to the Premier League in the future.
The Czech star has only had two seasons of senior football. In the 2015/16 campaign, he was loaned out to Serie B side Ascoli. He played 35 times in all competitions, scoring five times and providing nine assists. He then made his Serie A bow with Udinese last season, playing 30 times, scoring four goals and contributing four assists.
Jankto’s impressive campaign for Udinese was topped by his debut for the Czech national side. He scored after coming on as a substitute against Lithuania in a 3-0 victory back in March.
