Inter Milan are now confident of making a deal happen in the next “48 hours” for Nice wing back Dalbert, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Football-Italia.net).
Arsenal, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are all interested in the Brazilian, local newspaper Nice-Matin reports, but it seems that Inter are the ones closest to agreeing a transfer.
Nice had previously demanded any club match the 23 year old’s €30m release clause, but La Gazzetta say that they have lowered their demands to €25m, making it possible for a deal to be reached. A €15m offer plus bonuses from Inter had been rejected by Nice, but the club’s latest offer of €18 plus add-ons is getting closer to the mark.
Dalbert played as both a left back and a left winger for Nice last season, helping the club to a third place finish in Ligue One. The French side will be making a significant profit if they sell the player after spending just £1.7m on him only a year ago.
