Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny’s international team mate Arkadiusz Milik has hinted that the Gunners star’s future could be at Napoli.

Milik signed for the Serie A side last summer for €35m and would no doubt have asked Szczesny about the rumoured switch to Naples. When asked by Polish journalists (quotes via the Corriere Dello Sport) in Warsaw whilst on international duty, Milik said:

“Maybe I know something but they do not let me say. It would be fun to have him [Szczesny] with me and [Piotr] Zielinski in blue.”

Szczesny has been hotly tipped to replace the Partenopei’s current first choice keeper Pepe Reina. The ex Liverpool player looks poised to leave the San Paolo this summer after reportedly falling out with the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The former Spanish international has been in Italy for two years since making the switch from Bayern Munich, and reports today suggest that Manchester City manager (and ex Bayern boss) Pep Guardiola is keen to reunite with his fellow countryman, although there are also conflicting reports that Newcastle have agreed a deal for the 34 year old.
