RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg and his agent Hasan Cetinkaya will meet at the player’s home in Mallorca on Sunday to decide whether he wants to leave the Bundesliga side this summer, reports BILD.
The German newspaper had a chat with Cetinkaya before he flies out to the Spanish island, and it seems likely that the player will make a decision there and then:
“There are big clubs interested in Emil. That is why I want to know how Emil sees his future. And where. We will discuss this in peace. “
BILD say Arsenal, Juventus, Liverpool Milan and AS Roma are the clubs vying for the Swedish international’s signature. Leipzig’s Sporting Director Ralf Rangnick has spoken about keeping the squad in tack after finishing second in the league this season.
Midfielder Naby Keita, striker Timo Werner and Forsberg have all been linked with moves away from the club but Cetinkaya feels that as his client is 25, and a few years older than the club’s other stars, Rangnick should be more open minded:
“I fully respect the desire [of Rangnick]. But in contrast to Werner or Keita, Emil is three years older. That’s why we’re going to talk.”
Forsberg only signed a new five and half year deal back in February but it seems interest from the Gunners and other clubs has turned his head.
