Barcelona will revive their attempt to sign Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin once the European Under 21 Championships are over, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish newspaper’s editor Sergi Sole has written a column today outlining Barca’s strategy in trying to land the right back. The Catalan club do not want to disturb the 22 year old while the Under 21 tournament is still going on, and they will wait until after the final against Germany on Friday before making their next move.
There has been no communication between the Arsenal and Barcelona since the Gunners reportedly told the La Liga side last week that Bellerin was not for sale . On Saturday, once Bellerin has ended his participation for the Under 21s, it seems talks between the two clubs will begin in earnest.
Bellerin is Barcelona’s number one transfer target this summer but they have so far failed to make a formal bid for the defender. The player is reportedly torn between returning home and staying loyal to Arsene Wenger who gave him his debut in senior football.
