Arsenal frontman has four possible destinations with club open to exit

|

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could well end up at one of four possible clubs this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The Frenchman has been given assurances by manager Arsene Wenger that he is still an important part of the first team squad but the London based newspaper say the 30 year old has indeed been suggested by the Gunners as a possible makeweight in deals for either Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe or Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.

In addition, the Standard also confirm that West Ham are prepared to meet Arsenal’s £20m valuation of the player if he leaves the Emirates, while Marseille would likewise be in contention for the player’s signature.

Giroud himself has also spoken about his future on French TV station Telefoot in recent weeks where he said his future was at Arsenal, despite speculation linking him with a move back to France.

With the latest reports though, it seems like the forward could yet still leave, especially if either Lacazette or Mbappe make the switch to the Gunners.
