Roma are reportedly interested in signing Nacho Monreal from Arsenal this summer.
The 31-year-old Spaniard moved to Arsenal from Malaga in 2013 and has featured regularly for the Gunners since, making a total of 168 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side.
However, Monreal has not produced his best performances for the Gunners this season, and it seems Roma are ready to make an offer for his services during the summer transfer window period.
Transfermarketweb.com claim the Serie A club have already made an enquiry over the availability of the left-back, who still has two-years left to run on his existing Emirates contract.
But with a major reshuffle expected at Arsenal this summer, and with reported interest from both Roma and Athletic Bilbao, Arsene Wenger may well consider the sale of Monreal at the end of the season, despite starting 30 out of 33 of the Gunners’ Premier League games so far.
