Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar is one of the names on Arsenal’s summer transfer wishlist, according to both the Daily Telegraph and the Mirror.
French newspaper L’Equipe revealed on Saturday that Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all looking at the Frenchman, but it seems the Gunners will also make an attempt to sign the 21 year old this summer.
The left winger has been on Arsenal’s radar for a long time but his performances this season for Monaco have pushed him to a different level. In 55 games in all competitions, Lemar has scored 14 goals and provided a highly impressive 17 assists.
The youngster moved from Caen for £3.4million just two years ago, but he is now likely to command a much higher fee. This season he has also been capped by France for the first time, making his debut as a substitute in the 0-0 draw against Ivory Coast in a friendly back in November. He made his second appearance for his country against Spain in the 2-0 defeat in March.
