Arsenal will reportedly put Alexis Sanchez up for sale for £50million if the striker fails to agree a new deal this summer.

The 28-year-old Chilean will have one-year remaining on his existing contract at the this summer, and has confirmed that talks over a new deal have been shelved until the end of the season.

It is understood that Sanchez wants double his current £130,000-a-week wages to commit to the club beyond summer 2018, with the only reportedly offering him at the highest of £200,000-a-week.

Wenger has previously claimed that he would rather let Sanchez leave on a free than sell him this summer, but it’s now thought the Gunners do have a price in mind (£50million) if they can’t persuade the international to sign a new deal.

Sanchez is not short of admirers if he decides to call it quits this summer with Munich, Juventus, , Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, and all reportedly keen on his services.
