Arsenal would consider selling Alexis Sanchez if they received a huge offer, according to reports.
Spanish publication Don Balon suggests the Chile international could be the subject of an £85.2 million offer from Inter Milan.
The Serie A club have newly been taken over by a wealthy Chinese firm and have cash to splash, and have targeted Sanchez, who has 18 months left to run on his current deal at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger has insisted Sanchez will not leave the club even if the striker does not extend his stay beyond 2018.
But Don Balon reckons Wenger’s head could be turned if an offer that can’t be refused is tabled rather than risk losing him on a free when it comes apparent that Sanchez won’t extend his stay at Arsenal.
It is believed Sanchez wants around £300,000-a-week but Arsenal are only offering £180,000-a-week.
Inter Milan PSG and Juventus can all offer him what he reportedly wants, but Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune are Arsenal’s real threat financially with reports last month claiming they are ready to offer Sanchez £500,000-a-week, making him the best-paid player in world football.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will receive offers for Sanchez this month, with summer bids more likely to occur when the forward only has a year left on his deal at the Emirates.
