Tuttsport (via calciomercato.com) are reporting that Juventus are still keen on Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, and are considering a move for the Chilean international next summer if the Gunners fail to agree a new contract with the 28-year-old.

Sanchez’s contract expires in 2018, and will only have a year remaining on his current deal at the end of this season. Offers from China have reportedly upped the stakes in the contract negotiations with Sanchez stating he is leaving the talks up to his agent.

Juve are said to be long term admirers of Sanchez, but the player’s wages would prove to be a big stumbling block to any deal.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Chinese Super League clubs could all offer more than the Serie A side, and from the looks of it, it looks to be nothing more than a pipe dream among the Italian club’s’s hierarchy, who want to bring in a big name signing to the team.
