Carlos Bacca’s agent has told interested clubs that the striker is ‘very happy’ at AC Milan and will not be leaving the Serie A side this January, despite reports claiming otherwise.

The Colombian was said to have had a falling out with manager Vincenzo Montella last month which led to speculation of a possible move away from the San Siro when the January transfer window opens.

Arsenal have been linked with the 30-year-old, with reports suggesting that the Gunners were in talks with Milan over a potential £20 million move.

However, the player’s agent, Sergio Barila, now claims his client is settled where he is.

Talking to MilanNews, Barila said:

‘Bacca is very happy at Milan.

‘In addition, both the coach [Vincenzo Montella] and the club are happy with him.’

Arsene Wenger may look to add to his attacking options, but it is unlikely to happen next month after Olivier Giroud’s agent stated the French striker will remain at the club this January, while Danny Welbeck is set to return to first-team duties soon after recovering from his long-term injury.
