Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester Unite are all attempting to prise Rangers starlet Billy Gilmour, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is believed that all four Premier League clubs are keen on the 15-year-old midfielder having sent scouts to the annual Victory Shield tournament which is currently taking place in Edinburgh.

The Scottish teenager is rated as one of the best young prospects Scotland have produced in the last two decades.

It is thought that Chelsea’s and Manchester City’s youth academies are considered the best in England and want to add Gilmour to their ranks, although Arsenal are also renowned for their youth facilities.

United want to add Gilmour to their academy having lost their reputation as the leading club at youth level.

Despite his young age, Gilmour could cost as much as £3 million, and the Premier League quartet will face a further challenge landing the teenager with his family understood to be keen for him to continue his development at Rangers and pay for the first-team at Ibrox in the future.
