Arsenal will have stern competition for the signature of Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, with Liverpool and Tottenham reportedly interested in the diminutive Italian.

The 25-year-old is arguably one of the most talented players in Serie A as well as an integral figure in Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli side, but his future at the Stadio San Paolo has been put in doubt after failing to agree terms on a contract extension.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Insigne in the past and have done so once again over the past few days, and now, per Italian publication Il Messagero, Liverpool and Spurs are closely monitoring his situation at the Naples club.

Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are also thought to be keeping tabs on Insigne, but should the Italian forward decide to move on then it will more than likely be the Premier League trio battling for his signature.

January is approaching. Let’s see if anything comes of this.
