This weekend just gone has been another fascinating one in terms of the title race.
Going into the round of fixtures the top five were separated by just one point so all knew that a slip up could prove costly in terms of ground lost.
Arsenal were the first to set out their stall and they duly responded as they beat Sunderland 4-1 thanks to Olivier Giroud’s second half appearance.
Following the Gunners at 3 Manchester City brushed West Brom aside 4-0 to go back ahead on goal difference but Spurs could only manage a draw at home to Leicester City, seeing them slip back to three points off of the pace.
There were no such problems, though, for Liverpool as they beat Crystal Palace to go level on points at the summit before Chelsea would close the gap to one point to sit in fourth after beating Southampton on Sunday.
Things are still tight, then, and it could come down to the slightest of advantages as to who takes the title in the end.
