Quoted by FourFourTwo, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that the month of November could be absolutely crucial in the title race this season.

The Gunners are currently level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool in this season’s Premier League table and trail only the Citizens on goal difference.

All three sides won over the weekend with Arsenal beating Sunderland whilst City and the Reds winning away at West Brom and Crystal Palace respectively.

The weekend also saw Spurs lose two points on their title rivals as they drew at home to Leicester City but Chelsea kept up the pressure in beating Southampton to go one point the table toppers.

Three points currently separate the top five and the Frenchman Wenger feels that this month coming up could be one of the most decisive for his side at least.

The Gunners face the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United in the coming weeks and Wenger said of their upcoming fixtures:

“We now have difficult games coming up, with a difficult November, so by the end of November we will know more about ourselves. The desire is there and the mentality is great, though. There is great togetherness, we have quality as well, so they are good ingredients. But we have to show that we can do it week in and week out.”
