According to The Sun Arsenal are keen on signing the young Chilean Marcelo Allende.
The 17-year-old South American came through for the same side that current Gunners attacker Alexis Sanchez played for when he was in his home country and according to the report the two have discussed how Allende can improve.
Allegedly, Sanchez told the youngster to improve on his physical side of the game if he wants to compete in the Premier League and with him reportedly impressing during a two-week trial in recent times with the Gunners, a move could be on the cards.
Allende is now at another Chilean side Cobreloa, who also brought through former Gunner Eduardo, where he is continuing his progression and also captains the Chile under 17 national team from midfield.
He can play as either a central midfielder or more advanced midfielder whilst his stature of 5 foot 4 inches gives him a low centre of gravity.
