Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette according to Le 10 Sport and now just need the French club to accept a transfer fee for the forward to facilitate a deal.
The Gunners have been linked with a number of new centre forwards this summer and have had an offer for the France international rejected by the Ligue 1 club already in the off-season.
It has remained to be seen whether the North London outfit return to make an improved offer for Lacazette or turn their attention to other targets.
The latest report suggests that the gifted attacker is keen to move to the Emirates Stadium and has agreed terms in principle to switch to North London.
However, Arsene Wenger and the powers that be at Arsenal must now offer more than their initial £29 million if they are to convince Lyon to part company with their prize asset before the transfer window closes.
