Arsenal’s long-term striking target Gonzalo Higuain is set to sign a four-year deal to move to Juventus, according to Goal.
The Argentine attacker has been linked with a switch to the Gunners consistently over recent transfer windows, with Arsene Wenger being urged by the fans to splash the cash on a world-class centre forward.
Higuain is coming off the back of an excellent season with Napoli, with the South American ace topping the Serie A scoring charts with an impressive 30 strikes.
The former Real Madrid striker’s goal propelled the Naples side to a second-placed finish, but the attacker has since been linked with an exit from San Paolo.
The latest report suggests that Juve have been quick to make a move for Higuain and it will be announced that the Argentine will switch to the Turin giants before the start of the 2016-17 campaign – in another blow to Arsenal.
