Arsenal are interested in signing Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko according to talkSPORT, but the clubs have differing opinions over how much the enforcer is worth.
The all-action midfielder starred for France at Euro 2016 when given a chance to shine by Didier Deschamps and is all set to leave St James’ Park after the Geordies were relegated to the Championship last season.
Sissoko’s performances over the summer mean that he has no shortage of suitors, with the Gunners one of the teams thought to covet his services.
The report suggests that Arsene Wenger is a fan of the versatile star and would be willing to part company with £20 million this summer to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
However, it is believed that Newcastle are ready to play hard ball over Sissoko’s sale and could well hold out for as much as £35 million.
Arsenal have been linked with Sissoko in the past but his performances at Euro 2016 have cleared pushed his asking price up.
