YarmolenkoArsenal are in talks with Dynamo Kiev over a potential move for Andriy Yarmolenko, according to reports in Portugal.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian has scored 13 goals and created a further eight in 21 total appearances for Dynamo Kiev so far this season, and is now supposedly on Arsene Wenger’s radar.

Yarmolenko is believed to be valued at around the £20.5 million mark by his club and is being chased by Chelsea, Dortmund and Everton, reports A Bola.

However, Wenger recently stated that he doesn’t intend to bring in a new forward this month with Danny Welbeck set to return in the next couple of weeks, which makes you wonder why the Gunners are being linked with a move for Yarmolenko. In addition, the player’s agent has also been spotted at Goodison Park on more than one occasion, not at the Emirates.

The versatile Ukraine international does have good technical ability, dribbling skills and awareness, which would make him a decent signing for Arsenal. But it is highly unlikely that we will see a striker signed in the next two weeks – perhaps at the end of the season, but not this January.
