Mathieu DebuchyRoma and Lyon are reportedly interested in signing want-away Gunner Mathieu Debuchy.

The French right-back has fallen behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order at the Emirates and has been restricted to limited opportunities.

The 30-year-old has previously admitted that he may have to quit Arsenal in January in order to gain regular first-team football with a place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad next summer at Euro 2016 in mind.

Although Arsene Wenger would be reluctant to see Debuchy leave, the Frenchman yesterday hinted that the former Newcastle defender could leave the club in the upcoming month.

Roma and Lyon are now both supposedly keen on Debuchy, and Wenger will hope to recoup some of the £12 million he spent on the France international back in summer 2014 – If he could get at least half of what he spent on him from either interested club then it would be deemed at decent business.
