Arsene WengerArsenal kick-off their Champions League campaign away to Dinamo Zagreb this Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger will be eager to get off to a good start against the Croatian side and has already stated that they must finish above Zagreb and Olympiakos to progress through the Group Stages.

The Gunners and Zagreb have met only twice, this coming in the 2006/07 Champions League campaign, with Wenger’s men winning both games 3-0 away and 2-1 at home – so history is clearly in their favour.

However, time has passed and Zagreb are a better outfit than they once were, with the club being dubbed ‘the Croatian Invincibles’ – having gone the whole of last season unbeaten (W26 D10 L0), scoring 85 goals and conceding 21.

Arsenal go into the game having eased passed Stoke 2-0 at the Emirates over the weekend, and changes are expected.

So with this in mind, what should Arsenal’s starting XI be to face Zagreb this Wednesday night?

Well here is the side I would like to see start against the Croat side:

Cech

Bellerin         Mertesacker         Koscielny         Monreal

Coquelin         Cazorla

Sanchez         Ozil         Chamberlain

Giroud
