Would you like to see this man sign for Arsenal? [have your say]

|

Luis SuarezSo Arsenal are supposedly keen on bringing Luis Suarez to The Emirates this summer.

Reports suggest The Gunners tabled an opening £30 million offer for the Uruguay international, but it was turned down by Liverpool who will listen to nothing less than £40 million for the 26-year-old.

Arsenal are said to be preparing a second offer for Suarez (£35 million this time) but this bid looks set to be rejected once again.

Suarez had a very productive season for Liverpool last season despite their poor league position, contributing 30 goals and five assists in a total of 40 appearances. However, the Uruguayan has revealed his desire to play Champions League football next season, leaving Liverpool and the player himself in a difficult predicament.

Only Arsenal and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Suarez but if either club want to get their hands on the clinical finisher then they must be prepared to meet Liverpool’s valuation.

Despite being an incredible footballer, Suarez remains a controversial figure in the game, with many fans around the world and pundits alike being left appalled by his on-field behaviour in recent seasons.

However, despite all that has happened in recent years, I would like to know from as many Arsenal fans out there reading this if they would like to see Suarez sign for us this summer.

Is he worth £40 million that Liverpool have valued him at?

Would it be money well spent by Arsene Wenger?

Let us know what you think on the matter below.

I have been constantly saying it would be my worst nightmare to see Suarez in an Arsenal shirt and it would be but it would be better than seeing Arsenal not in the top 6

Liverpool are not going to let go of Suarez for less than 50M especially to another EPL club
besides Suarez said himself that if he leaves Liverpool its because of the British media , so why will he join arsenal if he thinks he is going to get that stick again from the press
go for Higuain he will come much cheaper , maybe half of what Suarez will cost

i won’t be deceive myself arsene wenger bringing suarez to arsenal i believe it was rumors cos arsene doesn’t buy expensive player like that. always use mouth to buy players.

Suarez is an excellent footballer and would be a good buy for arsenal (we need a goal poacher). more so he is not even at his peak yet. referring to Torres’ 50million flop doesn’t even correlate with the issue. arsenal plays a better game than Chelsea that i know if Torres were in arsenal he wouldn’t be a flop. the only problem with Suarez is the bad behaviors he exhibits. but lets be hopeful that if he signs for arsenal there will be a change. if you would ask for my opinion 35-40million is still a fair price for a player with his kind of statistics.

Of course I would accept him with both my erms. He is s fighter and a winner. He can score goals out of nothing. If we sign him, he would certainly bring success to our club.
