Going away from the Luis Suarez saga for a moment, which will undoubtedly last until the very end of the transfer window, Arsenal have been linked with yet another striker. But it’s a player that we here in England will know very little if not anything about.
According to reports, we are keeping tabs on Uche Nwofor…exactly.
The 21-year-old, who currently plays for Dutch outfit VVV Venlo, is apparently attracting interest from not only us but Spurs and Newcastle as well.
Nwofor managed to net 10 goals for Venlo last season and is likened to Christian Benteke.
The striker was close to joining CSKA Moscow in January fro around £3 million but a move to the Russian club failed to go through.
Before joining VVV Venlo in 2011, Nwofor, a Nigerian international, represented Anambra Pillars, Enugu Rangers and spent a season on loan at Shooting Stars.
Not sure this will go down well with the Arsenal faithful, should these reports be accurate of course.

Wenger is a twart! I detest that. Man for his dilly dally behaviour towards transfer policy. I find it difficult to believe that we have not signed a player. (A keeper, defensive midfilder, a striker and a defender) what a shame!
This season will be the same with other season no real signing. What a shame for arsenal.
