higuainJust when we thought Gonzalo Higuain was on his way to The Emirates, after reportedly sealing a £23 million move and agreeing terms with the north London club, it, according to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, doesn’t seem to be the case.

Perez claimed that there have been no offers from Arsenal for the 25-year-old striker and also suggests Higuain is still wanted at the La Liga club, despite being told by the Real hierarchy at the end of the last season that he will be sold.

However, in an interview with Univision, Perez said:

‘We don’t want Higuain to leave.

‘What’s more no-one from Arsenal has come to us and made us any offers at all for him. There are no offers on the table.’

I’m starting to worry about this potential move to be honest. Something doesn’t seem to be adding up here.

First off he was told he could leave Real by the club’s management, now the president claims they still want him on their books. Then we hear by both Higuain’s brother and father that a move to Arsenal is close and talks are at an advanced stage. But how long does it take to tie up a player? Surely by now everything would’ve have been agreed and in place.

I don’t know who to believe anymore and am starting to wonder whether or not we are actually targeting the Argentine this summer.

Let’s see where this goes.

Like you something does not add up here. I am beginning to worry there no genuine targets or targets that we are willing to pay market terms for?

I fear as usual we will wait for last minute price reductions which may never come.

If we sign Gareth Barry I really will lose the plot!!

Please Arsenal we need at least 2 ” super super quality players

Wenger wastes no time to sell his star players but will waste years trying to buy just a 2nd Class Replacement.
