Julio CesarJulio Cesar wants to stay in London, which should put Arsene Wenger on red alert.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper looks set to leave QPR following their relegation from the Premier League last season, with Roma and Arsenal the only two clubs at present believed to be interested in the Brazilian.

But Cesar’s latest comments will put The Gunners in pole position for his signature after revealing his desire to stay in the capital.

He told The Sun:

‘I love the city and I’m enjoying living there.

‘Now I have to do things right at my club so I can be considered for the World Cup.’

Harry Redknapp will not stand in Cesar’s way this summer and with the World Cup under a year away, the Brazil international will want to play regularly at the highest level.

Arsenal would be an ideal destination for Cesar as they can offer him Champions League football and are of coursed based in London.

Wenger is understood to be keen on signing a shot-stopper to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the number one spot this season.

Cesar wouldn’t command a big transfer fee, nor will his wages be too high to match.

If Wenger is looking to add an experienced goalkeeper to his squad this summer then Cesar should be his man.

Hopefully, Arsene acts fast and makes a move for the Brazilian ASAP.

Sack wenger ?, so who do you have in mind to replace him that’s better then him and will want to come to Arsenal and do what wenger has done with very little money to spent , its easy for Ferguson , Jose and others because they had no limit as to what they could spent , why does Jose M not go to a small club with little money , ask yourself that , I tell you why , Because he is not that great , Brian clough did it with Forest , anyway just wait and the new signings will come

I believe Cesar is already an Arsenal’s player. All I’m waiting for is the announcement of Higuain, Felaini, Williams and probably Rooney. All the fans should exercise patience.

The Arsenal Board starting what they did the past many years. The lag behind the truth because they start targeting players before any club but they always lost their target. The same is happen this year too. Since a number of clubs starting to challenge their target players.

Wenger is the greatest manager my Arsenal ever had. He is however very stubborn by nature and loyal to his own belief, he will do all he can to win a trophy/trophies with young talents. Should he decides to buy, don’t expect big names for huge spending. Let’s just cross fingers & wait for this summer tranfers before we speculate on the upcoming season’s outcome. Good luck Gophers, good luck Arsenal !
