Forget about M’Vila, let’s go for this man instead!

As we all know the off season is full of surprise and a hell of a lot of speculation – who will leave and who will be brought in, this is what every fan out there will be thinking.

One player who was potentially tipped to be in Arsenal colours next season was Rennes’ Yann M’Vila.

Pre Euro 2012 we were hearing reports of the deal being ‘99% done’, with the player supposedly saying he will decide his future after the European Championships. Well it’s been a good two weeks or so now since the tournament concluded and the news on him joining us has all but fizzled out.

So instead of waiting on a player who looks undecided on his future perhaps we should target another defensive midfielder this summer.

But who you say? Non other than Newcastle United’s Cheick Tiote.

The 26-year-old industrious Ivorian has Premier League experience and plays the same role as M’Vila, which would of course make the former a safer option in my opinion. In addition, M’Vila will reportedly be leaving Rennes for around £17 million, and I think if we were to go for Tiote then he wouldn’t be spending no more than £12 million.

Should the M’Vila deal not come to pass then Tiote should be next on Arsene Wenger’s list.

That damned racist who calls himself dutchgooner should be banned from anything that has to do with football. “He’s black”, huh? I wonder what colour you are? Red, yellow, pink or the three colours combined. Numbskull.

    Dutchgooner,
Get back in your hole, you cretin.
Pricks like you should be banned from EVER posting on any forum on any topic again.

  • James says:

Wouldn’t want Tiote, especially not for anything close to £20m. Nowhere near as well rounded as M’Vila, and when Wilshere is fit again, would anyone really like to see Song or Arteta benched for Tiote?

After a season out on loan to gain more experience, Frimpong will be our Tiote. Would be wiser to spend the money on other areas of the team.

  • Alan says:

Hey you ignorant racist Dutch Gooner maybe we should line up all the classy black players we want and let you choose which one is least black.that would save us all the bother of analysing their respective merits Youre an insult to the country your name suggests you come from, and if I had my way I d have the Dutch police turn up at your home and arrest you tonight

  • D same idiotic racist in goal .com…idiot hope you will eat your skin?

M’vila hasnt been stalling its wenger who has cooled his interest cause yann has personal attitude problems. Personally not a huge fan of tiote i would rather see capoue from toulouse. And m’vila being 21 makes him more valuable than tiote not skill level.

  • Amr says:

for me it has to be either Javi Martinez or Lucas Leiva from the scousers, no others come close to these two imo….Tiote is good, but i rather have frimpong in the team 🙂
